:: Kasper - Account Manager

At LanguageWire we strive to ensure that our staff are continually offered new challenges. Kasper Wodstrup Rost began as a trainee/sales assistant with us in December 2004. Today, he is an Account Manager.

“It has been fantastic to move straight from trainee/sales assistant to Account Manager in the space of two years. I now have much more responsibility as well as my own segment which mainly consists of marketing and advertising agencies. My job is to develop this segment and secure collaborative agreements with the companies – all in all to put LanguageWire firmly on the map. This is a challenging task but one which has also shown me that if you want influence and want to take responsibility, you can. My motto is: “Don’t work harder! Work smarter!”

I see the translation business as a niche with limitless potential, and I love going to work knowing that my energy can help improve things.  At the same time, I feel that through my work I have succeeded in modernising the field of translation, and that LanguageWire has lifted the industry to a new level. In time, I hope to continue my development outside Denmark, both to develop myself and LanguageWire as a company.

We are very busy, but that does not stop us from having a great work environment and a great team spirit. We all know each other well, and if I need to speak to one of my colleagues, I just walk over to their desks instead of sending an e-mail. Two of the core values at LanguageWire are the fact that we keep our promises and that we deliver high quality and good service. This means that we have to stay on our toes all the time in terms of price and quality. I like the crossover effect inherent in my job. That’s why I feel I have the best job in the world!”
