LanguageWire is a young and dynamic growth company which was founded by three partners in the summer of 2000.

Our founding focus, and a core value at LanguageWire, has always been the desire to increase the efficiency of work routines and business procedures for the benefit of all concerned. This is why we began by conducting an extensive survey of the market’s needs and preferences.

The survey showed that customers perceived the translation industry as fragmented and inaccessible. Hiring translators proved challenging due to the difficulty of identifying good translators who understood the language, culture and terminology. As a result, customers either opted to use a random translator they knew or decided to forego translating documents, preferring instead to do this themselves, even though this was often fraught with difficulty.

LanguageWire’s goal is to rationalise the translation industry, rendering it more accessible and making it easier to work with languages and translation. The means to do so is a digital business platform that brings together customers and suppliers. The platform collects information about previous assignments in order to provide a superior product for the customer. At the same time, suppliers are asked to highlight their competencies so that assignments and suppliers can be carefully matched. In this way we ensure that our customers' assignments are always carried out by the best specialists in the area, which in turn ensures the best results.

Today, LanguageWire has successfully positioned itself in the European translation market as a professional and reputable provider of language and translation solutions.
