1. Advanced profile – option of specialization
By registering with our supplier database, you can showcase your competencies to European and international companies. You state your own preferences in relation to the types of translation assignments you wish to receive. This allows you to specialise within specific areas, benefiting you, the customers and LanguageWire.
Instead of translating all texts for one customer, you can translate texts within your own area of specialisation for several customers.
Your LanguageWire profile and work area are protected by a password chosen by you. You can always change or update your profile.
2. Receive the perfect assignments
LanguageWire works with companies in a great many different business sectors. Every time we begin a translation, the assignment is matched against those suppliers who meet the assignment specification. Therefore, you will only work on those assignments that match your competencies – without you having to spend time searching for interesting customers and assignments.
3. Flexibility and capacity management
Working with LanguageWire allows you to optimally plan your working day. When you are offered an assignment, you decide whether you have the time and the inclination to complete it. If you have extra capacity during a certain period then you can simply bid on more assignments. And if you are busy, you can reject those assignments you do not have time for. This is done in your profile, where you can also state your reason for rejecting the bid.
If you are going on holiday or you are working on a big assignment and are therefore unable to take on translations for LanguageWire, then you simply note this down in your calendar. This will ensure that you are not offered assignments which you do not have time for and that we do not waste time contacting you.
4. Help with invoicing
When you work with LanguageWire, you do not need to worry about administration in connection with invoicing – we take care of everything. On completion of the assignment, we invoice the customer and send you a payment voucher at the end of every month. This payment voucher corresponds with your invoice. All you need to do is assign it a number and file it in your voucher folder along with your other invoices.
Payment for your completed assignments is automatically credited to your account on the last bank day of the month. All this makes it easier for you to focus on what you are good at – translating.
5. Optimal working conditions and tools
LanguageWire strives to make it easier for you to carry out your work, thus resulting in greater customer satisfaction. All our customers are assigned their own area on our website where suppliers can find useful advice. In addition, LanguageWire offers you access to a long list of tools: translation tools, reference texts, previous translation assignments, instructions, FAQs etc.
When you are completing an assignment for a particular customer, you will have access to all of these tools. In this way, you can, for example, check whether there are any previous assignments that you can use as a source of inspiration or any supporting material that will ensure optimal customer satisfaction with your work.
6. Quality assurance
LanguageWire only sends you assignments that fall within your chosen translation areas. This ensures both LanguageWire and the supplier that the delivered translations are of the highest quality and that your competency level is maintained.
It is also possible for you to be assigned to particular customers who prefer your way of translating. This guarantees customer satisfaction and means that you can hone your skills in relation to a given customer’s preferences.
7. Translator network
In addition to providing translation assignments and extra services, LanguageWire also wishes to create an even better global translator network. In the long term, this will be achieved by placing the platform and IT architecture at the disposal of translators so they can communicate with one another, share knowledge and, for example, establish universal translation tools.
